I finished the 2023 season on the podium, 3rd in the 2nd round of the WSK Final Cup, in Franciacorta.

I had a busy year of racing in 2023. After competing essentially in Portugal the previous year, interspersed with some appearances at events in Italy, this season I took on a huge challenge in the Mini class: racing the entire WSK Promotion calendar and being present in all five rounds of the ACI Italian Karting Championship. I also competed in the ACI Coppa Itália and in 2023 I participated in a stage of the Portuguese Karting Championship and raced in the Iame World Finals, at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve.

One of the competitions that I raced all rounds in 2023 was the ACI Italian Karting Championship, always in Mini Sub 10. With five rounds divided between Cremona, La Conca, Val Vibrata, Sarno and Franciacorta, I had ups and downs during a season that didn't start in a positive way. My best moment in the championship occurred in Val Vibrata, in the 3rd round, in which I led one of the decisive races and finished in second position, guaranteeing my first podium in this difficult competition.

Included in my racing calendar, the ACI Coppa Itália has become an unforgettable event. I won the Mini class and had an impeccable performance throughout the competition. My first victory in Italy. Thank you to Danilo Rossi, engine preparer Marco Salemi, my mechanic, Gregorio Scatigna and above all to my family.

In a season in which I was very active in competitive terms, present in 20 events outside the country, apart from the test sessions, I spent several weeks in a row, always in Italy. This forced me and my family to make adjustments so that this pace did not affect my academic performance. Many times, I used the quieter moments in the paddock to study.

I had a very extensive season in WSK Promotion events, participating in all stages of the competitions on the calendar. During the year, I progressively evolved in all phases of a competition weekend. I became increasingly more objective and faster in Qualifying sessions.

I also made great progress in the qualifiers of a weekend of competition, first starting to run among the frontrunners and then managing the races at the front, minimizing my insecurities and mistakes. I became a more consistent driver and naturally started to reach Pre Finals, also evolving during the year so that in this decisive phase of a weekend I positioned myself better and better, improving my management of a race. Naturally, over the course of the season, I got further ahead in the finals and the podiums started to arrive. In one of the most competitive and difficult classes in karting today, against the best drivers in the world, I managed to show that I am one of them. I leave 2023 with two podiums in finals and extremely motivated for 2024, a year to which I go with the same humility as always, but confident that I am capable of fighting for victories among the best.
