The achievement of the gold medal at the FIA Motorsport Games has to be the highlight of my season. By being the first gold medalist in Karting Sprint Mini, I also made history at the event.

The year 2024 was intense, long, and full of adventures. Early on, not long after it began, I changed teams following an irresistible offer to join SM Racing. However, I didn’t stay with the team for the entire agreed period, as the results didn’t meet my expectations and goals. Toward the end of the season, I returned to the team where it all began for my international project: DR by Danilo Rossi.

The year had barely begun when I received a two-year offer to compete with SM Racing. The invitation came from Oliver Oakes, who at the time was the head of Hitech GP and is now serving as the Sporting Director of the Alpine F1 Team. The terms of the offer made it almost impossible to refuse, so I decided to take a new path.

It was right at the start of a long season that I accepted SM Racing's invitation for an exciting and truly tempting project on many levels. I began competing for SM Racing from the 2nd round of the WSK Super Master Series. About a month later, I achieved my first pole position in the Mini Gr. 3 category during the opening of the WSK Open Series in Franciacorta. Building on a promising start, I secured my first podium in this category during the 2nd round of the WSK Open Series in La Conca.

However, from that result until September, there was no continuity in the good work the team had been developing with me. In this scenario, and faced with stagnation in my competitive progression, my family and I decided that the best path for the near future was to return to where it all started – DR. It’s a team where I’ve always felt comfortable and one I trust completely.

In October, at the invitation of FPAK, I was part of the delegation that represented our country at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia. In the Karting Sprint Mini, a category making its debut at the event, I fulfilled my promise to win and claimed the gold medal—an unprecedented and historic achievement for national motorsport. What pride and emotion I felt at that moment, listening to my country’s anthem.

In the final competition of an extensive international calendar, the WSK Final Cup, I was already competing with DR. Despite the change in team and equipment, I felt completely at ease, proving that I have always been competitive and capable of fighting for top positions in the Mini Gr. 3 category. In Lonato and Cremona, I demonstrated that I am in excellent form, finishing fifth and fourth in the two finals—just shy of the podium and victories. In Lonato, during the first Qualifying session with DR, I even secured pole position. I am at my peak in the Mini category. So, here’s to 2025, with new opportunities and challenges that I will seize with determination.
