2021 brought a new challenge, discovering and evolving in a new clas: X30 Mini. For the first season, my goal was just one: to absorb as much knowledge as possible through many miles on the track, both in testing and racing.

As part of Fernando Cabo's, Cabo Júnior Team (CJT), I raced the full season of the Portuguese Karting Championship, as well as in the Portuguese Cup. My goal for the entire year was just to drive as much as possible, without any competitive ambition, just focusing on progressing at each stage. The mission was completely accomplished. In any case, at times I was strong on track and always showed good consistency.

At the beginning of this learning curve in a new class, I also had my first miles of testing, outside of Portugal. The choice fell on the DR brand, with which in 2021 I carried out several test sessions, at the Italian tracks of Adria Karting Raceway and South Garda Karting (Lonato). I definitely enjoyed the experience in both sessions.

As a reward for my performance during the season in Portugal, I had the opportunity to compete in two events in Italy in 2021. Once again, I was part of the DR structure, owned by multi-world champion Danilo Rossi, to race the WSK Final Cup in Adria and the Trofeo Karting Ayrton Senna, in Sarno. Once again, the goal was to complete as many miles as possible in the race, without any ambition or obligation in terms of results. The only ambition for 2021 was to learn, to prepare for 2022. Mission accomplished!
