For the year 2022 I was faced with a new challenge, competing on two fronts: Portuguese Karting Championship (CPK) and starting a program that included several events on the WSK Promotion calendar. In both challenges, the criterion was to continue the path I started in 2021.

At national level, the focus was on a complete program, competing in all three competitions on the calendar, Open, Championship and Portuguese Cup. With the support of DR and the preparation of my kart handed to my family and José Marreiros, I had a good season, with some good results, of which I highlight finishing 2nd in Race 2 of the last stage of the championship, in Bombarral.

Outside Portugal, the focus was on starting a competitive program, with presence in some events on the WSK Promotion calendar and ACI Italian Championship. Also, there was the plan to race some other events, all on transalpine soil. As part of the official DR team for the Mini class, the start of an international program was planned attending events in Lonato, La Conca, Sarno and Franciacorta.

Just with the aim of gaining experience and evolving in my first year with an international program in an official team, the DR of Danilo Rossi, a five-time world karting champion, I followed my path, without no pressure of achieving great results. I raced five stages of the several competitions in the WSK Promotion calendar, accumulating as many kilometers as possible and in four of them I qualyfied for the Pre Final. I was also present at the 'mythical' Trofeo Andrea Margutti, where I was unable to reach the Final. I also had my first contact with the Italian championship, at the Franciacorta stage and I ended the season racing the Trofeo Aytron Senna, where I qualified for the final two races. Season concluded in a positive way, motivating me for 2023, where an international program, much more extensive and ambitious, would follow.
