Racing involves a lot of work, I have to practice a lot and my family is always with me. My father (Vasco Lázaro) helps me with advice, as he is very experienced in karting racing. During the year, we travel frequently so I can practice and gain experience. Within the possibilities of my school and whenever my father can take time off from his work, we go to kart tracks, such Palmela (KIP) or Bombarral (KIRO), sometimes also to KIA, which is in Portimão (Algarve), so that I can practice regularly and become increasingly comfortable behind the wheel of a kart. This additional effort is essential for me to evolve and increase my competitiveness in races. Since mid-2021 I have also started practicing on tracks outside Portugal, traveling regularly with my parents to Italy.

My mother (Stela Lázaro) is with me at every race, with her support and lots of affection. In my first years of racing, she was always by my side, helping take care of the preparation of the Birel with a Honda engine that I used in the Initiation class. After I moved to a new class, my mother continues to play an essential role in my preparation as a driver, ensuring that I don't miss anything in the races and that I have the best conditions to be competitive.

My sister (Daniela Lázaro) is also at the races whenever she can, giving me all her support and affection, as well as helping to build good memories with her excellent photographs. Even though my seasons are intense and require me to travel frequently, my family is with me at all times, experiencing my joys and participating in them. We travel, we see the world and we do it together, at the same time they help make my dream come true.

Although racing weekends are always very intense, they involve much more than moments in which we give our best behind the wheel of a kart. During race days, there is plenty of time for me to live like any other child my age, enjoying the many friends I have made in the paddock and experiencing and playing with them. Racing doesn't take me away from my childhood world, allowing me to meet people from other places, with whom I also build memories. I really like racing, but also other sporting activities and even in the paddock, there is always room to improvise.
