Learning Continues in Viana

This weekend, Xavier Lázaro makes his debut in the 2021 Portuguese Karting Championship, driving the Kart Republic in the X30 Mini category with the Cabo Júnior Team (CJT). With the event scheduled at the International Karting Circuit of Viana do Castelo, organized by the Clube Automóvel do Minho, the reigning champion and winner of the Portuguese Cup in the Initiation category now begins a new phase in his still young sporting career. Aware of the challenges in this learning year, Xavier Lázaro faces the challenge with the courage and skill that everyone recognizes in him.

"I want to give my best this weekend in Viana do Castelo", said the youngster from Várzea de Sintra. "There will be many drivers in my category, but I know that this year is about learning. Still, I will give my best for a good result".

For this opening round of the competition, the X30 Mini category has 16 drivers present, which will surely ensure an excellent start for this new and very interesting category. The event begins this afternoon with the official practice sessions (free and timed). Today also includes the first Qualifying Heat and Race 1 out of two in the category.
