Xavier Lázaro with a Busy Schedule in 2023

The race schedule for Xavier Lázaro for this year is already known. The driver from Várzea de Sintra will continue his progression in karting with a total of 22 races between Italy and Portugal, in addition to several testing sessions. This will be an intense year of competition for the nine-year-old youngster.

Maintaining his connection with DR, Danilo Rossi's team, a former driver and multiple times karting world champion, Xavier Lázaro will be present throughout the WSK Promotion calendar, competing in the Mini category, this year included in the Sub 10 class. In Italy, the Portuguese driver will compete in the WSK Champions Cup (1 race), WSK Super Master Series (4 races), WSK Open Series (4 races), WSK Super Cup by Mini (1 race), WSK Euro Series (2 races), and WSK Final Cup (2 races). Also in Italian territory, the Portuguese driver's calendar includes participation in one of the most traditional competitions in high-level karting, the Trofeo delle Industrie.

Enrolled in the Sub 10 Class for 2023

In his second international season in Mini, Xavier Lázaro now competes in the Sub 10 class. This is a subdivision within Mini, exclusively for drivers under 10 years old. In the WSK calendar stages, Sub 10 drivers have training sessions alongside the Mini category, but during races, they will have separate classifications.

CPK and Perhaps the Portuguese Cup

In addition to an extensive race calendar in Italy, Xavier Lázaro will be present in the most important competitions on the national schedule in X30 Mini, participating in the Championship and keeping open the possibility of attending the Portuguese Karting Cup. With the event calendar now set, the DR driver may only be in doubt for the second round of the Portuguese Karting Championship in Bombarral, as it coincides with the final stage of the WSK Super Master Series. The driver's standing in this international competition, as well as the result obtained in the first round of the CPK, will be crucial in determining which of the two events Xavier Lázaro will confirm attendance. Regarding the Portuguese Cup, his presence in the grand celebration of national karting depends on it not taking place in Madeira.

In Portugal, Xavier Lázaro will also compete in the i-Games in Portimão (IAME World Finals).

CAME, Expalum, Estores Bandarra, and BandAlumínios Renew Their Commitment
