I Worked Hard To Reach The Final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my last WSK Promotion competition of the year, I had to fight against the setback of retiring in Heat 1 and knowing that I had to recover enough to reach the Final. In my 3rd race in a new category, I fought hard and achieved a strong performance, which reflects my current form, increased maturity, and competitiveness. I\u2019m becoming stronger each time and already feel very comfortable at the wheel of the OKJ (Junior) kart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My First Final in OKJ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I reached my first Final in the category during the second round of the WSK Final Cup.\nIn Cremona, I maintained the right attitude at all times and had technically perfect equipment from my team.\nEveryone at DR did an excellent job, and I responded on track with a mature and consistent performance.\nThe progress was clear, and now \u2014 on to Lonato!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Debut in OKJ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my debut in a new category, I had some bad luck and technical problems at two crucial moments: during Qualifying, which forced me to start the Heats from way back, and later in my final attempt to secure a spot in the Final. A seized engine and a slipped chain meant that making it to the Final wasn\u2019t possible. On track, I performed well and feel comfortable battling against the best in OKJ. Bring on the race in Cremona!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Positive Debut in a CIK-FIA Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a positive performance at the CIK-FIA Karting World Cup in OK-N Junior, in Cremona. Held back by a Qualifying that didn\u2019t go well for me, I had to fight hard in the five Heats to secure my place in the Final. A good attacking race in Super Heat B gave me motivation, but starting from 20th in the Final, I climbed as many positions as possible to finish 16th. A week with unstable weather, but one where I learned a lot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I Always Kept Myself in the Game<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this final stage of the ACI Sport Italian Championship, even though I wasn\u2019t in full condition to fight for the win, I always managed to stay with the leading group throughout all the races. I struggled quite a lot in the Pre-Final but defended myself \u2018like a lion\u2019. In the Final, I was still running in fourth, but after a contact I dropped positions. A top five finish is a good reward in a weekend of great learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Almost Perfect Weekend<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost everything went according to plan. The equipment and the team's work were top-notch, and I did my part: delivering on the track. Second fastest time in Qualifying, three wins and two second places in the Heats, often setting the fastest lap of the race, and second place in Pre-Final B. In the Final, I was running in fourth the whole time, but with two laps to go, I was hit by another driver and had to retire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Always Give My Best<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a tough weekend, yet still a positive one. The team took a risk with the choice of chassis, and it didn\u2019t always pay off. For my part, it was up to me to always give my best, to get the most out of my kart, and that\u2019s what I did. I had good performances and I\u2019m continuing to adapt to OKN-Junior. I had some good races, but in the Final I was hit by another driver. All of this is part of the learning process and it makes me stronger.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Preparing the FIA Karting World Cup in Cremona<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took the opportunity to go to the Cremona Circuit to race in the 5th round of the ACI Sport Coppa Italia \u2013 Zone 1, with the goal of starting to prepare for my participation in the FIA Karting World Cup in the OKN-Junior category. The objective was to complete as many laps as possible. In the Pre-Final, I had to retire after being hit by another driver, but in the Final I came from 34th and finished in 8th. However, a penalty for damage to the nose of the DR dropped me to 13th place. It was a good training session.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Learning Progressed at a Good Pace<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third round of the ACI Sport Italian Championship marked another step in my learning process in OKN-Junior. I finished a bit below expectations in Qualifying, and in the Heats my pace was better than the results showed. I was very strong in the Pre-Final but started too far back for the Final. Even while still learning, in the Final I showed that I had the pace to compete with the best.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Importance of Qualifying<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A high-level karting weekend is heavily influenced by Qualifying. By not putting myself in an environment that would allow for a good timed lap, I ended up compromising my performance in the Heats. I had a determined Pre-Final and started 25th in the Final, but ended up retiring after being hit by an opponent who damaged my kart. The lesson learned is to optimize my pace when it matters most.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Progress in OKN-Junior Continues Positively<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Viterbo, I began my first competition in the WSK behind the wheel of an OKN-Junior kart. I already felt more comfortable, on a track that suits me better than Ugento. At the Leopard Circuit, I came very close to pole position, which is definitely a great result. I was consistent in the Heats \u2013 finishing third in one of them. I struggled a bit in the Pre-Final, but in the Final I showed what I\u2019m here for \u2013 to learn, but also to fight for the top positions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Debut in OKN-Junior Was Positive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My journey in high-level karting took a new step with my debut in the OKN-Junior category, competing in the first round of the ACI Sport Italian Karting Championship. In Ugento, a very challenging track, I was able to make progress throughout the weekend, feeling more and more comfortable on the track and gaining consistency. I performed well in the Pre-Final and secured a spot in the Final, finishing in the top half of the field, which was very positive. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Podium In the Farewell of Mini Gr. 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I arrived at this stage with great chances of winning the Mini Gr. 3 in the WSK Super Master Series, the truth is that some team decisions on the decisive day did not go as we had hoped. In the Final, I was unable to defend my chances of victory and finished the race in 10th place. Still, I am proud of my journey in this competition, in which I finished as the runner-up. Now, I already have new goals!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Second Victory in the WSK Super Master Series<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm feeling more and more comfortable on the track, and it showed in this stage. My motivation is high, and I missed pole position by just three thousandths. The Heats were tough, but I won the third one. I finished fourth in the Pre-Final, focusing on scoring points without taking risks. In the Final, I gave it my all and delivered an almost perfect performance. I imposed myself against the competition and controlled every moment of the race once I took the lead. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Second Place That Can Be Turned Into Victory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had another strong performance in the Super Master Series. In Lonato, I won three Heats, and in the other, I was flipped over by an opponent after overtaking him. I won the Pre-Final and finished second in the Final. Now, I just have to wait for the regulations to be enforced, as the winner was disqualified from the Pre-Final but still started the Final 16 positions ahead of where they should have been. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My First Victory in a WSK Stage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend was almost perfect for me. In Sarno, I was very strong, especially after the Qualifying, where I was fourth. I won two heats and finished sixth in the other. In the Pre-Final, I showed that I was motivated for my best result ever. I won, securing pole position for the Final. The Final was spectacular, but I think I was dominant, managing to impose myself to secure my first victory in the WSK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A Podium 'Earned Through Sheer Grit'<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My season start can be considered positive, as I achieved my goals \u2013 fighting for podiums in every competition. I was consistently very competitive, although I felt I lacked just a bit more performance. Even so, my team worked hard, and I delivered on the track. The competition was incredibly strong in the Final of the Mini Gr. 3 at the Super Master Series, where I defended the podium with all my strength. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
