After having been doing my karting training with older drivers for some time, as soon as I turned 5 I took part in the first official race, in the Portuguese Karting Championship, in the Beginner class. The race was at Bombarral, where I was 5th in Qualifying, among the 15 drivers present, many of whom already had a lot of competitive experience.
That same year, I also went to the PKC (Portuguese Karting Championship) stage in Palmela and did the Portuguese Cup, which was held at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão.
In 2019, I already raced the full season in the Portuguese Karting Championship, with good performances and competing for victories in some rounds, such as in Fátima, where I finished first in one of the qualifying heats. I had very positive performances during the season and constantly evolved, which left me highly motivated for 2020.
"In 2020, I won my first championship final"
2020 was a remarkable year for me, with a lot of success nationally. It was in this season that I achieved my goals in the Initiation class, winning the Portuguese Karting Championship as well as in the Portuguese Cup. All this success began when I won my first final, at the championship round in Viana do Castelo. In the season in which I said goodbye to the Initiation class, I could hardly have done it better. It was an unforgettable season!
